Our Silver jubilee comes at a time when our international expansion continues: we operate from eight locations across Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific and are planning additional offices in Japan and Australia. In fact, we’ve been operating across Europe since 2003. Group companies today include Consultus International UK (formerly The Energy Brokers), Consultus (PEMXQ), Consultus Worldwide, Consultus Water, and the Assured Energy subsidiary: which offers smarter and cost reducing measures for affinity groups and industry partners to work.
Assured Energy is another case in point of our continuing innovation in helping our clients to insulate their operations from market volatility, price hikes and unnecessary risk. That innovation continues with our market-leading Energy Resilience programme focused on Alternative Energy Generation and the opportunities presented by the private wire revolution, which can include up to 25% annual savings.
Indeed, over the last 20 years, our innovative risk and buying strategies have meant that on behalf of our clients we have outperformed the market by up to 35%.
Consultus manage a £1 billion combined client portfolio, providing clients with an annual 40% savings on supplier management fees and 52% annual savings on Meter Operator (MOP) contracts. We have delivered a £2 million saving to flexible energy clients and identified more than £10m in savings for clients through our historic bill validation service. We are the second highest switcher of water supplies in the industry.
