Consultus International have worked with Domino as their energy broker for several years, overseeing their energy procurement for both electricity and gas and co-ordinated tender exercises for contract renewals.
Challenges
Domino faced several challenges while transitioning its energy management and meter services. The shift to a new Automated Meter Reading (AMR) provider created operational difficulties, with scheduled installations frequently missed by engineers, leading to delays and disruption on site.
Following installation, the organisation also encountered inconsistences in the data supplied by the meters, which affected the accuracy of energy reporting and cost management.
Issues also arose with MOP (Meter Operator) installation scheduling, data acquisition, and the transfer of meter information, all of which added complexity to contract renewals and energy procurement processes.

Solutions
