Lead our PayCheck team

We’re excited to announce that we’re looking to grow our PayCheck service, creating a new hybrid management opportunity (2-3 days office/work from home) for someone with:

  • Previous billing experience (energy industry), ideally in bill validation, cost recovery and utility spend optimisation
  • Proactive approach
  • Experience managing people is desirable, but not essential

Take the lead & grow

The position is responsible for the administration, analytical and general day-to-day functions of the PayCheck team within the Bureau Department. The team’s focus is to assist clients with cost recovery and optimisation of their utility spends, completing in-depth analytics and working across multiple stakeholders to recognise financial gains and savings.

The role includes management of the PayCheck team ensuring all processes are completed within SLA. Ensuring support, coaching and training is provided to all team members.

The role will heavily rely on the proactivity of the candidate to research and develop new revenue streams which will benefit our clients and help reduce their Utility spend. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring performance across team against agreed standards and instigating continuous improvement.
  • Training and Development of team members and other colleagues
  • Holding Regular team 1-2-1’s, quarterly appraisal and monthly performance meetings
  • Representing the Team in client, supplier or management meetings or calls
  • Delivery of new related products or projects
  • Ensuring client reports are within SLA’s/KPI’s
  • Tracking/Monitoring the team members are adhering to SLA’s/KPI’s are met.
  • Ensuring Team have a healthy pipeline of opportunities
  • Driving new business via existing product lines
  • Targeted on Research and Development to introduce further opportunities within the existing PayCheck service
  • Keep updated on all industry changes and regulations.
  • Producing manage reports
  • Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement
  • Look at market intelligence to ensure we are providing a leading competitive service
