I began working at Assured Energy in March 2020 in the administration team, and despite the difficulties that COVID posed, felt a real sense of the ‘one team’ attitude that Assured and the wider Consultus Group promote. Although the majority of 2020 saw my team working remotely it was wonderful to have the constant support of the team around me; this is one of the elements I like most about working for Assured. Another is the focus within Assured/Consultus to promote the work-life balance. This is done in a series of ways, from offering wellness courses and exercises classes to providing incentives within the team for fun activities, early finishes or voucher prizes. All of the above ensures that while work remains the focus there is the opportunity to have fun and improve your wellbeing.
Exactly one year after joining Assured, I was promoted to the senior position within my team, a challenge that I am thoroughly enjoying. This was a direct result of the excellent training I received from my team leader, which allowed me to reach 90% of my training target by my fourth month of work. We also set targets and incentives for each quarter which continue to push us as individuals to excel within our work. Meeting and exceeding these targets is a real achievement and we make use Perkbox nominations in these instances. This provides the chance for your colleagues to recognise the work you have been doing and allows it to be shared not only with your team but with the wider Consultus group. This encourages the whole of the business to celebrate successes together!
